Designing steel to concrete connections is a key safety-critical task on many construction projects. Yet based on a survery carried out by the NCE, 33% of engineers say optimising connection design is challenging.
In addition to this being a challenging task, 10% of engineers have expressed that this normally takes more than 8 hours to design connections.
