Perfect for Mechanical and Electrical Contractors
Up to 5x faster installation, compared to traditional light duty anchoring
Our next generation cordless nailer offers a significantly faster alternative to traditional drilling and anchor methods when fixing a fastener to concrete or steel. This helps you enhance your productivity in fixing a range of applications – cable fasteners, conduit fasteners and even ceiling hangers for threaded studs. .
It also offers a more consistent fastening quality – as the mechanical drive offers more reliable fastening and better stick rate, all without the maintenance or costs of gas or powder actuated fastening. It’s capable of holding up to 30 or 40 nails per magazine (thanks to detachable magazine options), for common mechanical and electrical tasks, and is compatible with our new range of versatile fasteners, with more choice for each job.
Offers even more versatility with E fasteners
The BX 4 has got you covered for a range of jobs
Our electrical fasteners range is bigger than ever before, with more than 20 different fastening families that offer a versatile solution for day-to-day cable or conduit fastening applications.
Our conduit fasteners, cable clasps and cable bunch holders are both stackable and adjustable, and can work in a variety of base materials. In addition to concrete and steel, the BX 4-22 can also work on masonry and timber thanks to new push fit anchors. And in those rare cases of problematic concrete, you can also fix using light duty anchors.
For projects where fire rating is essential we offer a range of metal cable and conduit fastening options, while all our fasteners have necessary ETA approvals
Ideal for Interior finishing
Make the switch to a battery-powered fastener
We understand how critical speed and a reliable solution is when it comes to serial applications like track fastening in the interior finishing trade.
The BX 4-22 helps you to lay tracks without the noise, recoil, lag and maintenance involved with gas nailers. Simple features like detachable and longer magazine options with up to 40 nails, power adjustment and nail refill indicator enables users to perform tasks more efficiently. With an industry best stick rate and tool reliability, over 90% of customers involved in pre-launch tests decided to switch to our BX 4-22.
VERSATILE FASTENING WITH NAILS UP TO 45 MM
Perform more applications without the need for drilling and anchoring
The BX 4-22 can drive nails up to 45mm in length, thereby addressing many more applications such as deflection head of various sizes with thickness up to 30mm. The longer nails can also be used for various miscellaneous temporary fixings. In addition, the new system also brings the plywood nails which can be used to fix plywood sheets to SFS track.
You can also choose from different removable magazine options, including up to 27mm, 39mm and 45mm to cover a wider application range more easily, without the need to pre-drill and anchor. That means you can perform many more applications with the same tool reliably and with high quality.
FAQs when buying cordless concrete nailers
Why should I choose a battery-powered nailer?
One of the main benefits of battery-powered direct fastening is extra productivity. With cordless direct fasteners you don't need to drill and anchor, so you can save a lot of time.
The other key benefits of battery-powered fasteners as opposed to corded or gas-powered are flexibility and portability, with the same amount of power. There is no need to manage different power sources and multiple cordless battery platforms across several locations, and no more hazardous cables to trip you up. And unlike with gas-powered tools, there are no gas cans to buy and store, no fumes and a lot less noise, leading to a safer and cleaner working environment.
What should I look for when choosing a cordless nailer?
Important features to look for include:
- Adjustable depth of drive. This allows you to control how far the tool drives a nail into the surface.
- Nail size adjustment so you can change nail size according to the job at hand.
- A jam-clearing feature to prevent nails jamming in the mechanism.
- Larger triggers to make operating the nailer in gloved hands easier.
- Accessibility features such as angled magazines, which allow the nailer to access tight spaces and corners more easily.
What mistakes should I avoid when using a cordless fastener?
There are several common mistakes to avoid when using a nailer, such as:
- Overdriving: Fastener overdrive can happen when a fastener is driven too deep into the material surface. To prevent this, make sure you adjust the nailer's depth control, so that the fastener is driven in flush with the surface.
- Dry-firing: Using the fastener when it has run out of nails can cause strain on the tool's internal components. Look for a nailer with a refill indicator.
